Work With Me

I hold a B.A. in English from Barnard, where I also worked postgrad at a center for teaching and learning. In 2023, I was selected as a fellow for the Periplus Collective, a national organization that nurtures emerging writers of color. My writing has appeared in The Los Angeles Review of Books, High Country News, DREGINALD, and elsewhere. In the fall, I will begin an MFA in fiction at Brooklyn College.

Editing

Whether you’re in the brainstorming stage or polishing a finished piece, I’ll help you generate, expand, and tighten your writing. I’ve worked with writers on essays, short fiction, full-length manuscripts, college and grad school applications, and more. I’m also an experienced sensitivity reader: I’ve reviewed large-scale ed tech materials for implicit bias, and also edited nonfiction manuscripts for cultural competency. Whether you’re an organization or an individual writer, I’m here to support you. If you want, I’ll also help you find outlets for your writing. Sending work out into the world is scary—let’s be brave together!

Writing

If you’re an author or publicist, feel free to send me advance review copies of books and I’d be happy to consider reviewing them. In the past, I’ve placed reviews in prominent outlets, helping new releases gain important traction in the industry. I’m also an experienced copywriter adept in social media engagement. If you’re looking for someone to create a blog post, write a caption to market an event, or produce clean, efficient copy, I’m willing to offer support at a flexible rate.

Educational Consulting

Are you seeking solidarity in developing thoughtful projects that will engage and enliven your students? I’m an experienced educational consultant adept at catering to learners of different needs without sacrificing intellectual rigor. In the past, I’ve developed facilitation guides, written web pages on inclusive classroom practices, and led teachings on antiracist pedagogy. While the majority of my experience lies in higher education, I’m happy to be your co-conspirator in working toward anti-oppressive teaching and learning regardless of individual circumstance.
